- He taught at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in the English Language Division, Department of European Languages, Faculty of Arts and Humanities 2006-2011, and the English Language Center -2006-2007.

- He taught at the University of Leicester English (distance education program), Jeddah branch, Saudi Arabia in 2008.

He has been teaching at the Cairo University Center for Open and Blended Education since 2011.

He was awarded the title of Best Translation Instructor at the American University in Cairo five times.

- Establishing a translation diploma at the Center for Foreign Languages and Specialized Translation, Cairo University (2003-2006).

- Setting the TOEFL exams for the Language and Translation Center instead of the Amid East Commission (2003-2006).

- Setting the courses (translation + literature + linguistics) for the College of Languages and Translation at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, commissioned by the King Abdulaziz University Council in Saudi Arabia in 2009.

- Establishment of a master's program in translation at the Department of European Languages, Faculty of Arts, King Abdulaziz University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- Arbitration of several research projects for a number of Arab universities in the fields of translation and linguistics (more than 120 research and research projects).

- Arbitration of study programs (five programs) offered by the Department of Translation and Arabic Language (DTA) at the School of Continuing Studies at the American University of Continuing Studies and the external arbitrator for the translation diploma curricula at the College of Continuing Education at the American University in Cairo since 2010.

Cooperating with the Ministry of Planning and Administrative Reform to develop English language tests that public sector employees must pass to advance to higher administrative degrees in 2018, in cooperation with the ODA, the Operational Unit for Development.

- Member of the Quality Team at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, from 2003 to 2006.

- Member of the Academic Accreditation and Quality Team, Department of European Languages, College of Arts, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia (2006-2011). The college obtained academic accreditation from the American Association for Liberal Arts, and the university honored me on this occasion.

- Translating the book containing the terms of academic accreditation from English into Arabic, commissioned by the College of Arts and Humanities, King Abdulaziz University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

- A member of the quality team in the department in the Graduate Studies Committee and responsible for quality in the Bloom Translation since 2011 to date.

 

creative activities:

 

- Writing more than ninety articles on translation and its theories in the Saudi Gazette newspaper from 2006-2008 (photos of some of these articles are attached).

  - Writing a weekly cultural program for Saudi Radio under the title "Islam Peace and Tolerance", and the number of episodes of the program was 96 (four radio sessions = two full years) (2009-2010).

- Writing a weekly cultural program for Saudi Radio under the title “You must know this” and the number of episodes of the program reached 96 episodes (three radio sessions = a year and a half (2010-2011).

- Member of the Translation Unit, Department of European Languages, Faculty of Arts, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia (2009-2011).

- Translation of the episodes of four radio programs to educate pilgrims during the Hajj period: “Guests of the Most Merciful”, “Welcome to Pilgrims”, “Serving Pilgrims”, and “In Rehab Hajj” from 2009-2012, and the number of translated episodes exceeded 300 episodes.

 Working as an interpreter in many international conferences.

- Guest in dozens of television programs on many channels such as Sky News, BBC, Nile News, Nile Culture, Channels Two and Three and Iqraa, as well as many radio programs.

 Member of the Writers' Union since 2009.

 

Academic Excellence, Honors and Awards:

 

- The second at the level of the Republic in the general secondary school, the literary section in 1990, and the first at the Giza governorate.

 - Obtaining the third place at Cairo University in writing poetry and the fourth place in the short story at the BA stage.

Obtaining the title of the ideal student at the Faculty of Arts at the BA level in 1994.

- Obtaining first place in the Fulbright Commission tests in 1996, and traveling to America and Canada to study methods of teaching linguistics and literature, and methods of developing curricula.

Honoring from the state on the Flag Day and receiving the Taha Hussein Medal for Scientific Excellence in 2001.

- Member of the Association of Outstanding Students (high school seniors) since 2002, which holds periodic meetings to study curriculum development and develop plans for education development in Egypt.

Received the International Scientific Publication Award four times in 2012 under the chairmanship of Dr. Hossam Kamel, where I published two papers, one in the “Metamorphoses” journal issued by the University of Massachusetts, and the other in the “Sayyab Translation Journal” published in London, in 2013 and 2014. Under the presidency of Dr. Jaber Nassar, where she published two books: one in the German Lambert House entitled "A Study of the Translation of Figurative Language in the Qur'an", and the other in Nour International Publishing under the title "Issues of Literary Translation", and under the presidency of Dr. Muhammad Othman Al-Khasht in 2017, where she published a book in Nour International Publishing under the title “Lexical Issues in Arabic and English”.

- The National Center for Translation has officially nominated the book, which I co-translated with my colleague Dr. / Emad Abdel Latif (Assistant Professor, Department of Arabic Language, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University) titled “Metaphor in Discourse” for the King Abdullah Prize for Translation, which is the largest translation award in the world.

- My translated book, "Metaphor in Discourse", reached the final stage of nominations for the Refa'a Al-Tahtawi Prize in Translation in 2013, presented by the National Center for Translation, the largest translation award in Egypt. The book came in second place after the award-winning translation, which is Dr. Anani's translation of a play Shakespeare entitled "Accurately Accurate". The translator’s book, The Practical Guide to Literary Translation, reached the same stage for the same award in 2020.

 - The National Center for Translation has officially nominated the "Oxford Encyclopedia of Rhetoric", which I co-translated with a number of colleagues, for the Sheikh Zayed Translation Award.

  - Cairo University chose me as part of the team for translating the book Critical Thinking into English.

- She was awarded the honorary membership of the Egyptian Translators and Linguists Association in 2016.

 - One of the candidates for the position of Director of the National Center for Translation in 2012.

 

Academic Activities:

 

- Giving many lectures in many workshops held by the Department of Translation and Arabic Language at the American University, the College of Girls, and the College of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University.

Contribute to the organizing committees of a series of conferences, whether held by the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, or foreign languages and specialized translation at Cairo University (2003-2006).

- Establishing a Bachelor of Specialized Translation in English at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University (2018-).

- He came up with the idea of establishing a specialized translation diploma in the English translation program at the Faculty of Arts, Open Education Center, Cairo University (2018-).

    - I had the honor of supervising 32 theses (Master's and Ph.D.) at the University of Cairo, Ain Shams, Minya, Sohag and Al-Azhar University.

   - A member of 70 master's and doctoral discussion committees in many Egyptian universities
